There is no more special time in your life, then when you decide to bring a child into the world. This time should be captured for you and your family to enjoy for generations. You'll never get another chance!

Within weeks into their new life and your baby will already be changing quickly and will never be the same again. I love capturing this unique time at the start of their lives; that fluffy hair, those little toes,

and the cute newborn sleepy shapes that will very soon be gone forever.

Newborns are best photographed within the first 2-3 weeks of life. At this age babies are easily settled, often sleeping and therefore more comfortable during the session.

Full newborn sessions last 3-4 hours, allowing ample time for a variety of studio set-ups, and plenty of time for feedings, settling, and cuddling. I am so passionate about what I do and it is my goal to ensure a smooth, relaxing and the most exceptional experience possible. All of this while keeping your baby's comfort and safety my top priority.

 

All newborn sessions take place in my studio, where I can ensure the best light and keep the room at a warm temperature. Props including blankets, beanies, bonnets, wraps, throws, and headbands are purchased from the finest local and international suppliers and are available for your session. These items are only available for in studio sessions.  No pose is guaranteed. Each baby has their own likes and dislikes and the session will be "baby lead". This means that if your baby is not happy with a certain pose, I will move on to something else.

When should you reserve your session?

Any time you're ready! It's never too soon to reserve your spot, but I would say most clients try to reserve sessions anywhere from 3-7 months in advance. I do take a limited number of sessions per month so that I am able to serve my clients well with reschedules due to weather, illness, ect. so oftentimes there could be a last minute opening. If a weekend day is needed a $100 additional fee will apply, when available.
