When to book your newborn session…

I recommend booking your newborn session once you reach your second trimester, as availability is limited monthly and tends to book quickly. The best time to photograph a newborn baby is when they are under a month old of age, after four weeks babies are a little harder to settle and things like colic and baby acne can start to flare up. You can contact me at any time during your pregnancy to give me an estimated due date, we will then make a tentative booking. Then when you arrive home from hospital with your brand new baby you can contact me to see if your tentative date needs to be adjusted. I schedule a very limited number of sessions per month because I want to insure that my clients who book with me receive all of my attention every step of the way, a custom designed session just for their baby and heirloom images that they will cherish forever. Booking your session early is highly recommended, but if your baby has arrived or is due any day, please contact me and I will see if I can get you in.

For all other types of sessions, I recommend booking at least 6 weeks in advance to insure a spot on my calendar.

Where your session is held…
ALL newborn sessions take place at my in-home studio where I can ensure the best light and keep the room at a warm temperature. Other types of sessions can be done in-studio, or on location. For sessions scheduled outside of the studio, a travel fee could apply. Please contact me for more information.

How it works...

Now: You'll pick your session type, and contact me to see if I have availability. I schedule a limited number of sessions per month. If so, I will then invoice you via email so you can pay the session deposit online. This gets your due date on my session calendar and guarantees your newborn session. Your deposit is deducted from the session fee, then your balance is due the day of your session. If you would prefer to make installment payments that can be arranged. Once you have paid the session deposit you will receive my session prep guide with info to help you best prepare for a successful session.

When you deliver: Once you deliver (no matter if early or late) you'll shoot me an email or text within 72 hours please & your session date is then confirmed or adjusted if needed. Typically age adjustments are made for preemies & NICU babies.

Session day: You'll follow the prep instructions that morning. Once at the studio, sit back, relax and enjoy the show. I have everything covered! Parents LOVE to watch the amazing art of newborn portraiture. I have snacks, drinks & wi- in the studio. Naps are ok too ;).

After your session...
About 2-3 weeks after your session, I will schedule your private ordering appointment. Anyone involved in making the purchasing decisions should attend this appointment. A payment is due at this appointment. Some clients choose to pay in full, or others spread things out. I am happy to accommodate clients any way I can.

Print-screening images from this website is also against the law. I do offer digital images with a print release for personal use only. All offenders will be prosecuted accordingly.
